Death plays a role in all of our lives. I believe that having education around death and dying is important. As a non-medical companion and doula, I have the opportunity to provide holistic support encompassing emotional, physical, educational, and practical care to anyone.

I’ve always felt close to and connected with end-of-life and death services. As a teen, I had aspirations of becoming a forensic pathologist because I’ve always felt those who have passed on deserve to have their stories told, and truthfully. In my late 20's I considered making a career change to learn about embalming and mortuary services but it was not financially feasible. Now, I am making time to help those nearing end-of-life by providing doula services.

I am a certified IAP Death Doula with Professional Liability Insurance and am a member of NEDA, the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance.
